Vadim Starov - Founder and Chief Instructor of the International Training Center Systema SpetsNaz “Russian Style” Hand to Hand Combat.He was born in Russia , in the family of military tradition. His father was an officer of the Russian Army. From the age of eleven, Vadim was taught the art of Sambo, and at the age of fourteen he engaged in Western Boxing. At the age of 23 years old, he graduated from the Military Academy of the Air Missile Forces Marshal Birezov, where after he served for two years in special operational units (SpetsNaz).From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Starov was the member of the Veterans Association “Vimpil”. He was an instructor of Russian Hand to Hand Combat, officer of special operations and vice-president of the Service and Safety Security of the association to the citizens of Russia. |

In 1997, Mr. Starov became a member in the International Organization “Monolit”, the Veteran’s of Special Forces. Later on, he was introduced and became a part of the “Systema Kadochnikov - Russian Style ” Method of Self – Defense. In 2001, Mr. Vadim Starov opened an International Center “Russian Style” Hand to Hand Combat in the city of Tver. In 2002 he was invited by the Russian Military Forces to teach Hand to Hand Combat. Just as well, he was an instructor in the Military Academy in the city of Tver, teaching special methods of survival in extreme situations. Since 2006, Mr. Starov is teaching Systema SpetsNaz Hand to Hand Combat techniques to the Federal Drug Enforcement Agents. Mr. Vadim Starov has written a book on the Military Training of the Russian Special Forces “ The Path of Training a Warrior”. He produced numerous Instructional Films about the training of Russian SpetsNaz (Special Forces). Currently, Mr. Starov teaches in Russia, Europe and the United States. |
